Beautiful Weather and a Big Crowd for September Feature Fred Sprague!

Fred Sprague

Fred Sprague

Fred Sprague, from Hillsborough, New Hampshire, was our feature performer in September, and he put on a great show. The weather was perfect and the food was great as usual.

Fred played a wide selection of well known and lesser known cover tunes on both his HD-28 and his Stratocaster for a very appreciative audience.

September’s open mike performers were:

Ken and Dan Durand, from Rindge; Frank Perron, from Peterborough; Steve Bix, from Gardner; John and Ursula Papp, from Rindge, Bob Goodwin, from Templeton, MA; Rusty Guertin, from Holden, MA; Mac Cole, from Worcester; Steve Rapson, from Winchendon; Fred and Wibby Swedberg, from Orange, MA; Jack Kid, from Peterborough; For Love or Money (John Roper and Deb Northway); Robert E. Kelly, from Rindge; and Dave Lister, from Rindge

Thanks to the dedicated crew that makes this event a huge success month in and month out: Elisa Benincaso, Karla MacLeod, Al Lefebvre, and Ken Raymond. Food was provided by Karla MacLeod, Elisa Benincaso, Craig Hoyt, Roberta Letourneau, Joe MacLeod, Amy Raymond, and David Lister.

October’s Meeting House Stage will be held on the October 17 (the third Friday of the month instead of the second Friday), and the feature performers will be Ken and Dan Durand! Hope to see you then!

Dave Lister

  1. Thanks for all you do to support live local music, David. You have built a wonderful community, and the meeting house is a great room. I look forward to returning when ever I can.

  2. Hey David, just a great evening of musical talent last night and for the first time in my life playing coffeehouses, I heard a folksinger play a song about his golf game! Cheers! Jack Kid
