In July we normally hold the Meeting House Stage outdoors on the lawn behind the Rindge Historical Society Museum on School Street. But for the second year in the row, bad weather forced us inside on Saturday afternoon, and it was a great show! Going without a feature in July, each performer was able to do a three-song set, and then we cycled through the list a second time for a one-song speed round.
July’s performers were: Oliver Mutch, from Ashby; Bernadette Colley, from Leominster; Jan Miller, from Ashby; John and Ursula Papp, from Rindge, Nate Smith, from Fitchburg; William Letendre, from Temple; Steve Rapson, from Winchendon; Jerry Wile, from Mason; Lisa Greenleaf, from Merrimack; Bob Pope, from Nashua; and Jim Giddings, from Mason.
Thanks to the dedicated crew that makes this event a huge success month in and month out: Elisa Benincaso, Karla MacLeod, Al Lefebvre, and Ken Raymond; to all the folks that provided the fixings for the fabulous homemade strawberry shortcake, and especially to our wonderful, faithful audience members!
In August The Meeting House Stage returns on the evening of Friday, August 12. Our August feature will be Moonstone, which features the wonderful harmony vocals of Laurie Donohue, Suzi Brumaghim, and Pam Cadmus, accompanied by percussionist and instrumentalist Paul Belanger! Hope to see you then!
