Cooper & Kenneally
Rick Cooper and Pat Kenneally drew a large crowd on April 8, and put on a great show! By the end of the night, many new and regular open mike performers had taken the stage, and the food table had been happily decimated. What an evening!

Rindge native Matthew Lister came by to feature at the Meeting House Stage, and played before our largest crowd to date! It was a full evening of exceptional music, with great performances by all of our open mike performers.

Tom Smith, August’s Feature
Long-time Boston folkie and Jaffrey summer resident Tom Smith played to a packed house in August! Tom drew the largest audience we’ve seen at the Meeting House in it’s almost three years of existence, and we had a great group of open mike performers as well.

The year 2014 came to a close on December 12 at the Meeting House Stage, which featured bluegrass multi-instrumentalist Jerry Wile, from Mason. Jerry put on a great show, and all of the open mike performers played great sets of covers and originals. The holiday food table was killer!

ThistleWood, a guitar and harp duo from Hillsborough, returned for a second time to feature at the Meeting House Stage. It was a great evening, with many musicians playing great open mike sets, and the usual fabulous food table.

Ken and Dan Durand
Jaffrey natives and brothers Ken and Dan Durand ushered in Autumn with a great set of originals and cover tunes. We had a great crowd, three, count ’em three different soups, and a table groaning under the weight of some fantastic home-made baked goods.
October’s open mike performers were:
Fred Sprague, from Hillsborough, New Hampshire, was our feature performer in September, and he put on a great show. The weather was perfect and the food was great as usual.
Fred played a wide selection of well known and lesser known cover tunes on both his HD-28 and his Stratocaster for a very appreciative audience.
September’s open mike performers were:
On August 8 the weather was beautiful, sunny, dry, and in the 70s. It made for a cozy, comfortable mid-summer evening at the Meeting House Stage, where we had a great group of open mike performers along with our feature performer, Steve Rapson, who brought along his surgically repaired right thumb. Steve performed an eclectic mix of originals and covers in front of the largest audience we’ve had yet at the Meeting House Stage. Fun was had by all.

Outdoors in July at the Meeting House Stage!
In July the Meeting House Stage was held outdoors on the lawn behind the Rindge Historical Society. The weather was perfect, the strawberry shortcake was awesome, and the open mike musicians were all able to play extended sets, as no feature was scheduled for this special outdoor event. It was huge success andwe are hoping to make it a regular July event.

John & Ursula Papp
Our feature in June, the husband and wife duo of John and Urusula Papp, from right here in Rindge, returned for a second time to feature for us here at the Meeting House Stage. John played a couple of solo tunes and then brought out Ursula for some wonderful duets, and Nate Smith joined them on banjo for one of the tunes. It was a wonderful evening!
