In July the Meeting House Stage was held outdoors on the lawn behind the Rindge Historical Society. The weather was perfect, the strawberry shortcake was awesome, and the open mike musicians were all able to play extended sets, as no feature was scheduled for this special outdoor event. It was huge success andwe are hoping to make it a regular July event.
July’s performers were:
Robert E. Kelly, from Rindge; Ken and Dan Durand, from Jaffrey; Ray Siekierski, from Rindge; John and Ursula Papp, from Rindge, Ken Hasselbrack, from Amherst, New Hampshire; Fred and Wibby Swedberg, from Orange, Massachusetts; Rick Beausoleil, from Greenville; Jeanne Sable, from Fitzwilliam; Jim Giddings, from Mason; Nate Smith, from Fitchburg, and David Lister, from Rindge
Thanks to the dedicated crew that makes this event a huge success month in and month out: Elisa Benincaso, Karla MacLeod, Al Lefebvre, and Ken Raymond. The amazing strawberry shortcake and other great treats were provided by Karla MacLeod, David Lister, Candice Starrett, Ida May Harmond, and Amy Raymond.
On the evening of August 8 we’ll be back at the Meeting House Stage, and our long-anticipated feature for August will be classical guitarist Steve Rapson. Hope to see you then!
