In May, we had a great lineup of open mike performers, along with our great feature performer, Ron Carlson. Ron’s set, performed on guitar and octave mandolin, was a real crowd pleaser.
Our open mike performers were Ray Siekierski and Stan Long, Hal Pederson, Steve Rapson, Frank Perron, Snake (Eric Gullickson), Chuck Hall, The Bone Orchard Ramblers (John Papp, Ursula Sturms-Papp and David Lister), Bill Letendre and Charlene Ledoux, Owengale (Linda McCarthy and Rick Quimby), Volkert Volkerz, Fred Swedberg, Pat Kenneally, Vince Rivas, and Rick Beausoleil.
As always, a big thank you and debt of gratitude to the volunteers that work so very hard to make The Meeting House Stage a success: Karla MacLeod, Ken Raymond, and Al Lefebvre, and a shout-out to the many folks who brought all the wonderful homemade food!
Next month, on June 9, our feature performer will be Alouette Iselin, who’s roots in the folk music scene of the Monadnock region go all the way back to the era of the Folkway in Peterborough. You won’t want to miss it!
