On August 8 the weather was beautiful, sunny, dry, and in the 70s. It made for a cozy, comfortable mid-summer evening at the Meeting House Stage, where we had a great group of open mike performers along with our feature performer, Steve Rapson, who brought along his surgically repaired right thumb. Steve performed an eclectic mix of originals and covers in front of the largest audience we’ve had yet at the Meeting House Stage. Fun was had by all.
For August, our open mike performers were:
Ray Siekierski and Jim Leger, from Rindge; Jane Fallon, from Brookline; Frank Perron, from Peterborough; John and Ursula Papp, from Rindge, Rusty Guertin, from Holden, MA; Mac Cole, from Worcester; Rick Beausoleil, from Greenville; Bob Goodwin, from Templeton, MA; and Dave Lister, from Rindge
Thanks to the dedicated crew that makes this event a huge success month in and month out: Elisa Benincaso, Karla MacLeod, Al Lefebvre, and Ken Raymond. Food was provided by Karla MacLeod, Amy Raymond, Roberta Letourneau, Sally Poikonen, Idamae Harman, Rosemary Rapson, and Elisa Benincaso.
Next month, the feature performer on Friday, September 12 will be Fred Sprague. Hope to see you then!
