In February the Meeting House Stage was bracketed with some serious snowfall, but on the day of the show we got cooperation from the snow gods. Tim Mowry on guitar and mandolin and Steve Jones on banjo, better known as The Grumbling Rustics, played an amazing collection of acoustic instrumental music that they arranged themselves, stretching from the traditional fiddle tunes of Appalachia to songs from the Emerald Isle.
Our open mike performers were Bob Kelly, Ray Siekierski and Stan Long, Frank Perron, Jan Miller, Ken Hasselbrack, Bill Letendre (not pictured), Snake (Eric Gulliksen), Kirk Alexander, and Fred Swedberg.
A big thanks as always to the volunteers that work so very hard to make The Meeting House Stage a success: Karla MacLeod, Ken Raymond, and Al Lefebvre. And as always, a huge thank you to the many people who brought food! And thanks to Hannaford, who kindly donated the Keurig coffee brewing system.
In March, Dan Chauvin will return to the Meeting House Stage to entertain us with his beautifully crafted originals. The date is Friday, March 10!
